Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Proposal Developer – Renewables to drive high-quality, client-focused technical proposals and cost estimates within Enterprise Operational Services. You will lead the proposal process, coordinate pursuit teams, manage schedules, and ensure content aligns with client requirements and differentiates Ulteig’s services.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management, engineering, technology, renewable energy, or related field; or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of experience in proposal development, project coordination, project management, technical writing, estimating support, engineering support, or related.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to organize technical information into clear, client-focused proposal content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, documents, and stakeholder inputs.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, influence without direct authority, and communicate proactively to keep proposal activities moving forward.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead Renewables proposal efforts from intake through final submission.
• Review RFPs and client requirements to identify gaps and compliance needs.
• Develop proposal documents, supporting exhibits, and related sales materials using approved templates.
• Research, write, edit, and organize proposal content to ensure persuasive, compliant responses.
• Prepare proposal development plan (PDP), manage assignments, and track progress.
• Support estimate development by initiating the estimate draft and tracking inputs from teams.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical Services, Field Services, Project Management, Legal, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and others.
• Facilitate proposal kickoff, progress reviews, and maintain trackers.
• Set up and maintain proposal collaboration tools and schedules.
• Manage proposal comments, revisions, approvals, signatures, and final PDF production.
• Coordinate final proposal packaging, electronic submission, and delivery.
• Support proposal closeout and lessons learned.
• Participate in continuous improvement of proposal tools and templates.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to refine project scope for proposals.
• Lead internal meetings and drive tasks to completion.
