Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering; minimum 5 years of estimating/design management/field management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience with large-scale solar projects; experience with alternative delivery projects, cost modeling, cost trending, GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead interview and interview preparation for negotiated bids, act as Bid Captain, and run estimate/bid process meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, internal clients and stakeholders.
• Track and manage project budget and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Prepare qualifications for projects aligning with contractual obligations and submit documents for legal review.
• Oversee preconstruction and construction scheduling; train staff and manage risk with safety programs.
• Manage documentation and deliverables; present to project owner in an organized manner.
• Represent McCarthy at design and coordination meetings and assist in design decisions.
• Participate in prequalification, RFP/RFQ responses, and buyout log management.
