Job summary

Apex Clean Energy in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Associate Property Analyst to support land administration across the project lifecycle. You will maintain lease records, coordinate payments, and manage data in land management systems, working with Development, Legal, Finance, GIS, Asset Management, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Legal, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in land administration, real estate, title management, or related field.
• Renewable energy experience highly preferred; strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid Charlottesville, VA environment.
• Interest in renewable energy and Apex's mission; embodies core values.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain lease payment records and coordinate payments with Property Analysts.
• Input, maintain, audit, and update lease, easement, option, and other real estate data.
• Monitor contract dates, payments, notice requirements, and extensions; prepare related docs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate agreement administration.
• Perform quality control reviews of land records for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate reports and analyze land data to inform decisions.
• Maintain organized records in accordance with policies.
• Build relationships with landowners, attorneys, and title professionals.
• Support process improvements to increase land administration efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
