Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, Project Development to support and directly manage the development of solar, wind, and storage projects across California, Hawaii, and the Desert Southwest. You will collaborate with Business Development, Origination, Engineering, Project Finance, and Construction teams through the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of renewable energy project development experience in the U.S.
• Experience across siting, land and real estate, permitting, interconnection and power marketing.
• Experience with EPC engagement and project financing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex renewable energy projects from siting to commissioning.
• Identify development strategies to reduce permitting risks and create project value.
• Support due diligence and manage stakeholder networks for land and development partners.
• Coordinate with engineering, Land Acquisition, and external consultants on layouts, interconnection, and studies.
• Assist in securing PPAs, GIAs, Turbine Supply, and EPC contracts.
• Support financing diligence for cash equity, tax equity, and debt commitments.
