Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an Associate, Renewable Development to support utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States. This Denver-based role focuses on advancing developments, coordinating permitting, landowner agreements, interconnections, and budgets.

You will collaborate with the Renewable Development team to identify prospects, conduct market assessments, and engage with landowners and officials.

Qualifications

• BS/BA from an accredited college program.
• 3-5 years of experience in renewable and clean energy industry.
• Denver-based role; willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind, solar, and BESS developments in the SPP region.
• Assist in preparing project data rooms for construction financing.
• Secure site control for development prospects through leases/easements.
• Evaluate and track power market trends.
• Coordinate landowner communications.
• Take a lead role in obtaining local, state, and federal permits.
• Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, officials and other stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks within budgets and schedules, including coordinating internal and external support.
• Identify development prospects through market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
