Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, Project Development to support and directly manage the development of solar, wind, and storage projects across the West region. You will collaborate with Business Development, Origination, Engineering, Project Finance, and Construction teams from siting through commissioning.

The role requires 2+ years of U.S. renewable energy development experience, strong permitting and interconnection knowledge (CAISO/WECC preferred), and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, environmental science, or related field.
• 2+ years of renewable energy project development experience in the U.S.
• Experience with land development, permitting, interconnection, and power markets (CAISO/WECC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage complex renewable projects from siting to handover.
• Support due diligence and portfolio evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
• Assist project financing efforts and contract negotiations.
• Engage stakeholders and manage budgets and schedules.
