Job summary

DESRI seeks a talented individual to join as an associate or manager of development, leading renewable energy projects and participating in asset acquisitions. You will identify opportunities, negotiate with landowners and permitting authorities, and translate information into financial models to keep projects on schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in renewable energy development, strong communication skills, and an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of renewable energy development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in any field.
• Compensation is determined by market indicators based on job family, background, location, skills and experience.
• Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of renewable energy projects and participate in asset acquisitions.
• Identify opportunities in attractive markets and negotiate with real estate counterparties.
• Translate complex information into financial models while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
• Focus on recontracting operating assets or developing surplus battery energy storage projects.
• Work with a team of developers in an agile organization.
