Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking a Renewable Energy Infrastructure Development Lead to drive utility-scale solar, BESS, and associated grid projects. You will oversee early-stage development, permitting, and delivery readiness, coordinating with stakeholders to accelerate project timelines while ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.

This role demands deep expertise in solar PV, battery storage, and grid interconnection, with a track record of delivering scalable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility-scale solar/BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of grid connection processes and inverter architecture.
• Ability to assess technical, regulatory, and environmental constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar and BESS projects from early-stage opportunities through Ready-to-Build and energisation.
• Assess sites from technical, planning, grid, and infrastructure perspectives.
• Develop grid connection and power export strategies with relevant authorities and service providers.
• Support planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical and development risks across generation and storage assets.
• Ensure projects are deliverable, scalable, and align with construction and commissioning requirements.
• Drive projects from early development through design, permitting, and delivery readiness.
