Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead for renewable energy projects in the Consulting group. This hybrid role focuses on owner’s engineer engagements for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage, coordinating with developers, lenders, and IPPs.

You will prepare EPC specifications, review contractor designs, and guide teams using modern tools. A BS in EE and 8+ years in utility-scale design are required; strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required; 8+ years' utility-scale solar/BESS design experience.
• Experience leading EPC/Owner's Engineer projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Review EPC drawings, specs, and calculations.
• Support EPC selections and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with lenders and developers in owner’s engineer role.
