Job summary

Trimark Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to manage the full proposal process for RFPs and customer inquiries. You will work with Business Development, Project Management, and Engineering to scope work and pricing for proposals.

You’ll create templates, write content, and ensure accurate pricing while tracking statuses and deadlines. This role emphasizes strong writing, collaboration, and proficiency with office tools and CRM systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a technical field.
Minimum two years of related proposals or business development experience.
Strong writing skills with ability to craft persuasive proposals.
Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and related productivity tools.
Experience translating technical concepts into client benefits.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and update proposal templates for all proposal types, including writing content, updating graphics, and formatting.
Write proposals based on pricing information, system diagrams, and RFP scopes; review pricing against scope for accuracy.
Track status of all proposals to meet deadlines and issue tracking reports.
Organize and maintain proposal folders with related information (proofs, pricing, diagrams, emails).
Track proposal statistics and pricing in an Excel spreadsheet for comparison.
Create, maintain, and update proposal data in Salesforce/Deltek (contacts, sites, status, etc.).
Assist in marketing, social media, and PR efforts.
