Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a skilled professional to support customer relationships and coordinate structured power transactions for development and operating projects. The role focuses on pricing, structuring offtake arrangements, proposal drafting, market analysis, and cross-team collaboration with Legal, Credit, Development, and Finance.

You will help originate new business, finalize bids, and ensure smooth execution with internal teams and counterparties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or related discipline with at least 2+ years of work experience.
• Familiarity with offtake structures, utility scale customers, and key offtake contract concepts related to utility-scale renewable power plants.
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other applications.
• Exposure to utility-scale, renewable energy development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support power origination team in sourcing, structuring, negotiating and closing long term structured power purchase agreements and other revenue contracts.
• Support the negotiation and lead the execution processes around initial customer contract initiatives, including memoranda of understanding, confidentiality agreements, and term sheets.
• Support project marketing and proposal development.
• Conduct research on new markets, understanding policy driven customer demand factors, offtake products, and risks.
• Integrate input from internal functional areas into a cohesive product for internal approvals and responses to negotiations.
• Interface with customers, coordinate proposal timelines and responses, and liaise with SMEs during negotiations.
