Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead end-to-end energy projects in George. You will drive feasibility studies, concept design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and report progress to senior management, while leveraging PRINCE2 or PMP practices and software tools to optimize schedules,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, renewables focus.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and relevant software tools.
• Experience with solar PV and/or wind energy systems is essential.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable technologies.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines, and track progress against objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulators for smooth execution.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses for new opportunities.
• Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Report project status, challenges, and successes to senior management and stakeholders.
