Job summary

Priority Power seeks a Manager, Project Development – Renewables (Solar & Wind) to lead utility-scale project development from site control through construction handoff. You will coordinate NEPA studies, land-use permitting, interconnection work, budgets, and stakeholder engagement for high-impact clients.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven track record in solar/wind development and storage integration.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of project development/PM experience in utility-scale renewables.
• B.S. in Engineering; electrical, mechanical, chemical focus preferred.
• PE license or ability to obtain preferred.
• Familiar with ERCOT/ISOs and transmission providers.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and advance utility-scale solar PV and wind projects, including standalone, hybrid, and co-located storage.
• Develop conceptual service plans, energy yield estimates, and high-level technical documents.
• Manage project development schedules and budgets.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and manage contract obligations.
• Oversee NEPA and environmental permitting, land-use entitlements, and public hearings as required.
• Coordinate interconnection processes (ERCOT/ISOs) from application to agreement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on plant design and interconnection facilities.
• Handoff projects to construction management and support financing diligence.
