Job summary

Power System Engineering (PSE) is seeking a Project Manager Renewable Energy to lead strategic energy projects from origination through closeout. You will manage engineering and design across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project management within energy/renewables, a strong engineering background, and experience in consulting, utilities, or EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of project management/engineering experience in energy, infrastructure, or renewables.
• Experience with solar, BESS, or microgrids is a plus.
• Experience in consulting, utility, developer, or EPC environments is preferred.
• PE license and PMP certification are advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for renewable energy projects across origination, feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate electrical, civil, and structural disciplines to deliver turnkey solutions.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Coordinate internal and external teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, risks, and resource plans.
• Apply PM tools and best practices to manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
• Support procurement activities, including RFP development and bid evaluations.
• Provide technical oversight for solar PV, BESS, microgrids, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with construction teams on sequencing and field coordination.
