Prospect Rock Partners in New York, NY, seeks an Investment Banking Associate 2 for Renewable Energy M&A to support deal origination, execution, and financing for clean energy projects. You will work on energy storage, green chemistry, and generation transactions, performing financial modeling, due diligence, and client advisory, with a focus on tax equity and structured capital solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of investment banking experience focused on renewable energy or related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills with project finance and tax equity exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial analysis, modeling, and valuation for renewable energy, energy storage, and related deals.
• Prepare pitch materials and documents for capital raising and M&A mandates.
• Conduct industry research and financial analysis to support deal origination.
• Develop and manage client relationships across the low‑carbon ecosystem.
• Create detailed financial models for project finance transactions, including tax equity and debt facilities.
• Support due diligence for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to structure innovative financing for clean tech.
• Contribute to industry thought leadership to strengthen market position.
