Job summary

Renewable Properties is seeking a talented Project Finance Associate to bolster the financial strategy across solar, BESS, EV charging, and related development. You will build and refine detailed models, support M&A diligence, and analyze PPA/RFP finance options in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in renewable energy finance, strong Excel modeling, and experience with tax equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in renewable energy project finance or related field.
• Advanced Excel modeling including cash flows and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience with tax equity structures and renewable financing mechanics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams with precision.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize project- and fund-level financial models aligned with underwriting assumptions, capital structures and RFPs.
• Support execution of M&A transactions, including valuation, modeling, due diligence, and stakeholder coordination.
• Analyze and model PPA and community solar RFP responses, supporting bid strategy and pricing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect inputs and validate assumptions for development-stage assets.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for approvals, investor discussions, and lender engagement.
• Assist with transaction structuring, investor negotiations, and financing document execution.
• Monitor late-stage and operational project financials, identifying risks and mitigants.
• Track market trends, policy developments, and valuation benchmarks relevant to solar and BESS financing.
