Job summary

Our client is a rapidly growing clean energy developer advancing distributed solar and battery storage projects. The Associate will support M&A, investment analysis, and strategic growth across the renewable portfolio with a focus on financial modeling and due diligence.

Working with senior Business Development leaders, you will help drive acquisitions, support execution, and deliver insights that shape investment decisions and expansion plans.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Energy Management, or a comparable discipline.
• At least two years of professional experience in transaction-oriented or analytical roles.
• Proven ability to present financial analyses, investment recommendations, and diligence conclusions to stakeholders.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities with detailed valuation and forecasting models; renewable energy exposure is advantageous.
• Knowledge of debt/equity structuring and capital allocation; ability to operate in a transaction-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial valuation tools for energy investments and forecasting.
• Support transaction execution from opportunity review through closing with underwriting and diligence.
• Build and enhance internal models for scenario analysis, value drivers, and risk assessment.
• Oversee pipeline systems, monitor progress, and prepare reports on activity and performance.
• Conduct market research, develop pricing assumptions, evaluate studies, and inform strategy and expansion.
