Job summary

Moss & Associates LLC seeks a Senior Energy Electrical Project Engineer to deliver large-scale utility solar and battery energy storage projects from Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will lead electrical takeoffs, submittals, and coordination with procurement, field teams, and vendors to ensure on-time, within-budget project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years in construction project engineering, electrical contracting, solar EPC, or utility-scale renewables.
• Experience with utility-scale solar or battery energy storage projects preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical construction processes, drawings, procurement, submittals, and material coordination.
• Experience with change-order identification, contract administration, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical takeoffs and material quantity reviews for procurement and cost control.
• Review and coordinate drawing revisions and maintain logs to ensure current information.
• Develop equipment, DC/AC signage and labeling packages for sites.
• Lead submittal process including tracking and closeout of submittals.
• Manage field deliveries, vendor documentation, and project equipment tracking.
• Support contract administration with PO and subcontract records and change events.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote safety and quality standards.
