Job summary

CoVolt Power in Olivet, Michigan, is seeking a construction project administrator to support the Construction Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of solar, BESS, and HV infrastructure projects.

You will assist in developing plans, budgets, schedules, and ensuring accurate project documentation; coordinate permits and drawings, track progress, and support procurement and meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years construction management on large commercial/industrial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities; able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Construction Manager for planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Assist in developing and reviewing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate contracts, permits, drawings, and specs with version control.
• Track progress, milestones, and deliverables; update stakeholders regularly.
• Monitor budgets and procurement activities; ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Schedule meetings; prepare agendas and minutes; document actions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors; ensure timely material delivery.
• Support site visits and inspections for safety and quality compliance.
• Facilitate communication among team, clients, and contractors; maintain documentation.
• Prepare project reports and presentations; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
