Job summary

CoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC company delivering solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and high voltage infrastructure across North America. This role supports the Construction Manager on large commercial and utility-scale projects in Michigan, coordinating plans, budgets, documentation, and field activities.

You will liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, while maintaining accurate records and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years construction management experience on large commercial/industrial, utility, solar, or wind energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Construction Manager for planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
• Develop and review project plans, budgets, and schedules; ensure alignment with goals.
• Coordinate project documentation (contracts, permits, drawings, specs); maintain records and version control.
• Track progress, milestones, and deliverables; provide regular updates to the Construction Manager and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and procurement; ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate project meetings (scheduling, agendas, minutes) to ensure effective collaboration.
• Support coordination/management of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for timely material delivery.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor activities, quality control, and safety adherence.
• Facilitate information flow among project team, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project reports and presentations; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in resolving project issues and deviations from plans with the Construction Manager.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices and contribute to continuous improvements.
