Job summary

CoVolt Power in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator to support solar energy projects from notice to proceed through client acceptance. You will work with the Project Manager, Estimating during pre-bid, and coordinate field needs on site.

You must read IFC drawings, manage time, communicate effectively, and help ensure the project stays on design, budget, and schedule. This is a 100% project site based role with safety training requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or electrical engineering.
• OSHA 10 and SWPPP training required.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and job specs for civil/electrical work.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Experience with solar energy projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on solar energy projects from NTP through final acceptance.
• Coordinate with Estimating during pre-bid and buyout to meet field needs.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face communication.
• Plan, lead, and coordinate project execution as if it were your own business.
• Assist in scheduling, organization, and implementation.
• Support project administration to ensure conformance with design, budget, schedule.
• Handle contract administration, scheduling, reports, budgets, cost reports, risk management, safety, and quality control.
