Job summary

Terra Energy is seeking a Capital Markets & Renewable Energy Finance Leader to execute and scale its financing activities. The role covers project finance, debt and equity, tax equity, and transferable tax credits, with hands-on modeling, due diligence, and negotiations.

We value senior managers to VP-level candidates who can own transactions and help shape Terra’s broader capital markets strategy. The successful candidate will lead financing initiatives, collaborate with lenders and investors,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in renewable energy finance, project finance, capital markets, structured finance, or investment banking.
• Experience with renewable energy developers, IPPs, infrastructure investors, project-finance lenders, or tax equity players.
• Demonstrated experience structuring, negotiating, and closing financing transactions.
• Experience with tax equity, transferable tax credits, or other renewable energy incentives.
• Advanced financial modeling skills: project cash flows, valuation, debt sizing, scenario analysis.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy economics, financing structures and markets.
• Experience negotiating with financial institutions, investors, lenders, and counterparties.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting/Business; MBA is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex concepts.
• Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewable energy financing transactions from structuring through closing.
• Develop and analyze financial models for project finance, debt, equity, and structured finance.
• Evaluate financing strategies involving tax equity and transferable tax credits.
• Coordinate due diligence across financial, legal, tax, technical, and commercial domains.
• Collaborate with lenders, investors, tax equity providers, advisors, and capital partners.
• Support term sheet development, negotiations, and closing processes.
• Assess capital structure options and advise senior management.
• Build relationships with banks, infrastructure funds, and other capital sources.
• Help develop scalable processes and strategies for Terra’s capital markets activities.
• Take increasing ownership of Terra’s capital markets strategy as growth continues.
