Job summary

Pattern Energy Group is seeking a Manager to lead financial analysis across project finance, M&A, and capital-raising initiatives. You will act as a transaction lead or support a senior leader, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to drive strategic investments in renewable energy and transmission projects.

The role requires 5–8 years of project finance experience, strong modeling skills, and the ability to mentor junior professionals within a collaborative Capital Investments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holders plus 5–8 years of project finance modeling experience.
• Experience leading project finance, capital raising, M&A transactions.
• Experience with wind/solar/storage/transmission projects.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation understanding.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and interpretation of financial models for renewable projects
• Deliver investment presentations and materials for stakeholders
• Lead or coordinate investor and lender due diligence
• Manage third-party consultants and review reports
• Coordinate internal teams and primary contact for responsibilities
• Support negotiation and execution of transaction documents
• Oversee junior team, provide guidance and QA/QC
• Balance priorities across multiple transactions and timelines
• Serve as internal financial-modeling expert
• Identify improvements to processes and tools
• Develop and mentor direct reports
