Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Management to lead planning and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage facilities.

Reporting to the Director, Project Management, this advanced individual contributor role is responsible for independently managing complex projects from late-stage development through commercial operation while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent combination may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management for utility-scale energy projects.
• Experience with EPC contracts, vendor management, project controls, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience overseeing engineering, construction, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Travel up to ~25% depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from late-stage development through COD.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, budget, forecasts, and reporting for multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and third-party providers for successful delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks including safety, technical, environmental, regulatory, and schedule risks.
• Monitor project controls including cost management, scheduling, change management, and risk tracking.
• Review and manage contracts, PO changes, claims, and vendor performance with Legal, Procurement, and Finance.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Environmental, Real Estate, Finance, and Operations teams for seamless transitions between phases.
• Lead project meetings and provide status reports, risks, budget performance, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
• Manage commissioning, turnover, warranty administration, and handoff to Operations.
• Uphold TerraForm Power HSSE policies and drive safety culture on all sites.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions, repowerings, and growth initiatives.
• Contribute to standards, governance, and lessons-learned programs.
