Job summary

Canadian Solar is building out its Capital Markets function to support the financing and monetization needs of the company’s growing portfolio. The manager will partner with the Managing Director of Capital Markets to establish scalable processes, tools, and infrastructure for debt and equity financing, 45X monetization, and related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in capital markets or corporate finance.
• Experience executing debt and/or equity financing transactions.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with solid PowerPoint capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with tax equity or 45X credits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage debt and equity financings for multiple projects and entities.
• Develop and own project and platform financial models and financing decks.
• Coordinate lender, investor outreach and diligence processes.
• Track milestones, timelines and closing deliverables across transactions.
• Help build repeatable Capital Markets processes and tools.
• Support monetization of 45X tax credits and engage with capital markets partners.
