Job summary

GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company, seeks a Sales Business Developer for North America to own commercial strategy, develop pipeline, and drive revenue for hardware and software solutions in renewable energy. The role is based in the continental US with preference for Austin, Texas.

You will identify opportunities, build multi-level relationships, and manage the full sales lifecycle, collaborating with the technical team to tailor techno-commercial proposals and ensure project delivery.

Qualifications

• End-to-end sales experience of hardware/software solutions in energy
• Pipeline development, revenue growth, and order intake responsibility
• Strong network in North American renewables accounts
• Ability to translate technical specs into techno-commercial proposals

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial strategy for North American customers
• Identify and convert new business opportunities and drive new-logo acquisition
• Manage sales pipeline, lead generation, negotiations, and order intake
• Communicate value of SCADA, PPC, EMS, analytics to stakeholders
• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships
• Develop account strategies for key NA customers and prospects
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver projects
• Represent GPM at industry events in solar, wind, storage
• Provide market insights to HQ to inform strategy
