Job summary

Southern Power seeks an Engineer/Analyst – Renewable Asset Management to oversee the financial, operational, and strategic performance of renewable assets (Solar and Wind). You will track revenue and expenses, manage budgets and forecasts, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and asset value.

Responsibilities include lifecycle optimization and coordinating with O&M teams to maintain high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management, preferably in renewables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze revenue, expenses, and overall asset profitability.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assets.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
• Oversee asset optimization and lifecycle management to maximize value.
• Coordinate with O&M teams to ensure high availability and performance.
