Job summary

Southern Power, a leading U.S. wholesale energy provider, is seeking an Engineer/Analyst for Renewable Asset Management.

The role focuses on financial, operational, and strategic performance of solar and wind assets, tracking revenue and expenses, and driving cost savings and revenue optimization across multiple facilities. The position requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in power/renewables, and strong data analysis and contract management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• 3+ years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management, preferably in renewables.
• Contract management experience.
• Experience managing multiple medium to large projects from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, operational, and strategic performance of renewable energy assets (Solar/Wind).
• Track revenue, expenses, and asset profitability; monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
