Job summary

Atrium Health's North Renal Unit in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for the Renal Unit. The role focuses on unit management, patient care, and staff leadership within a 19-bed Renal unit serving adults with renal disease.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in NC or GA, CPR certification, and preferably CRRN. Two to four years’ nursing experience with leadership is desired; rotating weekends and 3-12 hour shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in GA or NC.
• Current CPR certification.
• CRRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unit management and safe, quality patient care.
• Coordinate shift assignments based on staff education and patient acuity.
• Monitor unit activities to ensure timely completion.
• Lead staff and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
