Job summary

biBerk is seeking an experienced workers' compensation claims representative for a fully remote position in the continental United States. The role involves evaluating compensability, managing a multi-jurisdiction caseload, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with claimants, attorneys, investigators and medical providers.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of workers' compensation claims experience (or 5+ years without a degree), familiarity with medical terminology, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant claims experience (Workers' Compensation).
• Bachelor's degree not required with 5+ years of relevant claims experience (Workers' Compensation).
• Claims Adjuster Designation or SIP Certification required.
• Experience adjusting claims in TX is required.
• Experience in OK and AK preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine compensability and coverage for loss-time workers' compensation claims.
• Manage caseloads across multiple jurisdictions.
• Negotiate settlements under management's review.
• Gather medical and factual evidence to determine compensability.
• Direct outside investigations and handle litigation files within authority.
• Coordinate with claimants, attorneys, investigators, and medical providers.
