• 2-3 years of experience handling indemnity workers’ compensation claims.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of workers’ compensation claims from initial report to resolution.
• Make decisions on liability/compensability and reserve levels.
• Interact with claimants, policyholders, medical providers, and other third parties.
• Conduct timely initial contacts and investigate new claims.
• Verify coverage and document files after each interaction.
• Take statements as needed and document all actions taken.
• Identify subrogation issues and coordinate with clients.
• Start/stop indemnity benefits timely and accurately, and complete forms.
