Sedgwick in California is seeking a seasoned Workers' Compensation Examiner to analyze and adjudicate claims for our clients from the Brea, CA office with remote/hybrid options depending on business needs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of California workers' compensation experience and jurisdiction knowledge; SIP certification is required or must be obtained within one year of employment. We offer flexible scheduling and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years California workers' compensation jurisdictional knowledge.
• SIP required or must be obtained within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims with action plans to resolution.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions professionally.

3 years claims management experience

SIP certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
