Qualifications

• Three (3) years of California workers' compensation claims management experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; SIP certification preferred or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigates complex California workers' compensation claims to determine exposure.
• Negotiates settlements within designated authority and manages reserves.
• Calculates and pays benefits; handles state filings within statutory limits.
• Manages litigation processes for timely, cost-effective resolutions.
• Reports claims to excess carriers as required and communicates directions professionally.
