Qualifications

• Three years of California workers' compensation claims management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; SIP certification preferred or obtainable within one year.
• Knowledge of California jurisdiction and claims handling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex California workers' compensation claims to determine benefits.
• Negotiates settlements and manages claims through established authority.
• Calculates reserves and ensures timely claim payments.
• Prepares state filings within statutory limits.
• Manages the litigation process and coordinates with carriers.
