Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is offering a work-from-home opportunity for a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster. Responsibilities include investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims with excellent communication across claimants, providers, and attorneys.

Prior WC adjuster experience and knowledge of state-specific laws are required, with training and IT support provided from the home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with claimants, CEOs, providers, and attorneys.
• Handle claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain detailed, accurate claim files and documentation.
