Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is offering a fully remote Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster role focused on Southeast jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of adjuster experience and a solid understanding of workers compensation laws.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims, interacting with claimants, attorneys, and clients. We provide home-office equipment and IT support, plus benefits starting from day one, such as health-related perks,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• License/state experience in the Southeast states.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling workers compensation claims on behalf of clients.
• Communicating with claimants, providers, attorneys, and executives.
• Handling claims across multiple Southeast jurisdictions.
