Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Workers Compensation Support I to provide administrative and operational support for the workers’ compensation program. You will help with claim processing, documentation, reporting, and communications with employees, managers, insurers, and TPAs.

The role ensures claims are recorded, investigated, submitted, and maintained in compliance with laws and company policies, with remote flexibility where permissible by state law.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of workers’ compensation and administrative support procedures.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Claims intake, processing & compliance: support recording, investigation, reporting of workers’ compensation claims in compliance with laws and regulations; coordinate intake and submission to insurers and TPAs.
• Claim records & documentation: maintain accurate claim files and ensure completeness of case information.
• Employee, manager & partner support: serve as primary contact for injured employees, managers, insurers, and external partners with guidance on processes and status updates.
• Case communication & return-to-work updates: share case details and notifications on hearings, outcomes, and work restrictions.
• Claims reporting, trends & program improvement: generate reports on trends and costs; identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
