Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Workers Compensation Support I in a remote capacity, with starting pay ranging from $19.23 to $24.03 per hour and a potential base to $28.84. The role supports claim processing, documentation, reporting, and coordination with carriers and TPAs while enabling flexible remote work in supported states.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of workers’ compensation and administrative support procedures.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Claims intake, processing & compliance: Support the recording, investigation, and reporting of workers’ compensation claims in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; coordinate claim intake, documentation, and submission to insurance carriers and TPAs in a timely manner.
• Claim records & documentation: Maintain accurate claim files and records, ensuring all required documents and case information are complete and current.
• Employee, manager & partner support: Serve as a primary point of contact for injured employees, managers, insurers, and external partners, providing guidance on claim processes, required documentation, and status updates.
• Case communication & return‑to‑work updates: Communicate case details and necessary information to involved parties, including notifications related to hearings, outcomes, return‑to‑work status, and work restrictions.
• Claims reporting, trends & program improvement: Conduct periodic case reviews, maintain and update claims databases, generate reports on trends and costs, and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and reduce risk.
