Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in CT, DC, DE, MD or VT.
• Bachelor's degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• License required in CT, DE, and VT.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate high‑complexity workers' compensation claims under significant authority.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, interviewing involved parties.
• Analyze forms, policies, instructions and records to determine coverage.
• Prepare reports and proper claim reserves; coordinate expert resources.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insureds, claimants and clients.
• Document activities and ensure timely diary management.
