Argo Group is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment that may transition to temp-to-hire. The role involves adjudicating high-complexity claims across multiple jurisdictions from anywhere in the United States.

You will work with internal teams and clients to manage cases, set reserves, and pursue favorable outcomes. Candidates should have at least five years of WC experience, a Bachelor's degree, and licenses in CT, DE, and VT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in CT, DC, DE, MD, or VT.
• Bachelor's degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.
• License required in CT, DE, & VT.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how an insurance company makes money.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate high-technical workers' compensation claims under technical direction.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Report trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Manage diary, ensure timely resolutions, and reserve setting.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insured and claimants.
