Job summary

Pie Insurance is seeking a Claims Adjuster to independently manage all phases of workers’ compensation claims from setup to closure. You will investigate, adjust reserves, and pursue favorable outcomes while complying with statutory requirements.

You will collaborate with agents, insureds, and TPAs to deliver top-tier claims service remotely from the United States. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of workers’ compensation experience, with CA familiarity, strong communication, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Claims experience in California required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from setup to closure.
• Conduct timely investigation and adjust reserves.
• Mitigate claim exposure while achieving favorable outcomes.
• Determine timely compensability decisions within statutory requirements.
• Manage legal activity with defense counsel and control costs.
• Provide updates to agents and insureds and collaborate with TPAs.
