Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years workers’ comp claim adjusting experience required or preferred.
• Active licensing in applicable states preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage workers’ compensation claims from set-up to closure.
• Evaluate high-dollar, high-exposure, complex claims.
• Conduct timely 3-point contact investigations and update as facts change.
• Set and adjust reserves within authority limits.
• Present claims to senior management and stakeholders.
• Administer statutory medical and indemnity benefits through life of the claim.
• Coordinate with defense counsel through litigation while controlling costs.
• Provide excellent customer service to agents and insureds; improve claims processes.
