Job summary

National Interstate is looking for a CA Workers Comp Claims Adjuster to join our team. The role offers a hybrid work option from Richfield, OH four days per week, or remote work from anywhere in the USA if not located near the office.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 6 months of property and casualty claims handling experience. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of property and casualty claims handling experience.
• Professional designation (AIC) preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of claims and evaluate compensability and liability.
• Conduct claim investigations to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and coordinate with arbitrations or hearings as needed.
• Communicate coverage and settlement information to insureds and external partners.
• Maintain accurate claim files with all related correspondence and documents.
