Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Workday Time & Absence Product Manager to own time tracking, absence, leave administration, and scheduling. Remote contract role with W2 benefits; focus on AI-enabled solutions, testing, and multi-stakeholder collaboration across HR, Payroll, IT, and compliance.

The role requires deep Workday configuration expertise, backlog leadership, and risk-aware strategy to modernize processes and ensure compliant, measurable outcomes for employees and managers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Strong requirements gathering and scalable solution design experience.
• Leadership of UAT, integration testing, and production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and Scheduling.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, Compliance, and Tech to shape future-state experiences.
• Translate objectives into measurable outcomes and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities for workforce processes.
• Design AI-enabled solutions for leave, scheduling, compliance, and self-service.
• Pilot and scale intelligent workforce solutions with enterprise AI teams.
• Serve as product owner for Time Tracking, Absence, Leave Administration, and related rules.
• Configure and maintain Workday processes, validations, accruals, and time/absence plans.
• Lead discovery, workshops, and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own testing strategy: unit, system integration, UAT, regression, production validation.
• Build product backlogs, release plans, and coordinate HR/IT implementations.
• Support Workday upgrades and feature releases for continuous optimization.
• Develop KPIs and leverage Workday analytics and dashboards.
• Identify predictive analytics to improve workforce planning.
