Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Leave Administration configurator for a 12-month contract-to-hire, with a remote work setup. The role focuses on configuring payroll, time, and leave processes to support payroll operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include configuring earnings/deductions, processing rules, testing (SIT/UAT), validation, and deployment readiness while partnering with multiple teams to deliver scalable Workday

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• Experience with Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Leave Administration configuration experience.
• Earnings and deductions configuration.
• Payroll processing rules and calculations.
• Payroll reconciliation and data validation.
• SIT, UAT, regression testing and payroll parallel testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Leave Administration functionality.
• Configure earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, processing rules, work schedules, time calculations, overtime rules, and related business processes.
• Payroll reconciliation, parallel testing, system enhancements, release support, production troubleshooting, reporting, and deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Benefits, Technology, Reporting, Security, Integrations, and vendor teams to deliver scalable solutions.
