Job summary

CivilSoft Technologies is seeking a Workday Payroll & Time/Absence Functional Configurator for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement. The role starts remote and will transition to hybrid locations such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Richmond, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem after conversion.

The candidate will configure Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll modules, work closely with stakeholders, and participate in testing cycles within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Workday experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience configuring time tracking, absence, and payroll modules in Workday.

Responsibilities

• Configure absence plans, leave programs, and accrual schedules in Workday.
• Manage time entry calculations and work schedules; enforce eligibility rules and compliance.

I am reaching out regarding a Workday Payroll & Time/Absence Functional Configurator opportunity with CivilSoft Technologies, an IT staffing and technology consulting company supporting public sector and enterprise organizations across cybersecurity, ERP, data & analytics, cloud, program management, and managed services.

This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity. The role is initially Remote during the contract period and is expected to transition to Hybrid after permanent conversion . The future hybrid locations are Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Richmond, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem.

Role Summary

The role focuses on hands-on Workday configuration across Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll. Key responsibilities include configuring absence plans, leave programs, accrual schedules, eligibility rules, time entry calculations, work schedules, validations, compliance policies, and payroll components.

The consultant will work closely with product teams and LOB stakeholders within a Scrum/Agile environment and support unit testing, SIT, UAT, troubleshooting, and Tier 2 production support.
