Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Workday Payroll Lead to join a leader in the Business Services space. You will drive Workday Payroll implementations, configuring solutions to be accurate, compliant, and aligned to business requirements. Partner with client stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT to deliver end-to-end deployments and resolve complex issues.

Location: Remote - US-based candidates only. Compensation: $125,000–$205,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• US Payroll certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, IS, HR, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax rules, and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead complex Workday projects.
• Excellent client-facing communication.
• Mentor consultants and share payroll expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Workday Payroll solutions from requirements to deployment.
• Translate payroll requirements into effective Workday configurations.
• Configure payroll calculations, tax setups, earnings, and deductions.
• Mentor junior consultants on payroll configuration and implementation best practices.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and IT for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and implement solutions.
• Stay updated on Workday Payroll features and their impact.
• Contribute to internal tools and knowledge sharing to enhance the payroll practice.
