Job summary

Impact Advisors LLC in the United States is seeking a Workday Payroll consultant to lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Workday Payroll for clients. You will gather requirements, configure payroll settings, and provide expert guidance throughout deployment, ensuring best practices and seamless integration with related financial modules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hand on experience supporting Workday Payroll implementation lifecycle processes.
• Workday US Payroll certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, including payroll calculations, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex Workday Payroll projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Workday Payroll solutions, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand payroll requirements and translate them into Workday configurations.
• Configure Workday Payroll to meet client requirements, including payroll calculations, tax setups, earnings, deductions, and related processes.
• Mentor junior consultants on payroll configuration and implementation best practices.
• Work with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless integration between Workday Payroll and other systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues with clients and internal teams.
• Stay current on Workday Payroll updates and assess their impact on implementations.
