Job summary

Jobgether seeks a dedicated Workday Payroll specialist to support clients remotely from India. You will advise on platform functionality, configure payroll components, and guide deployments while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements include payroll processing experience, Workday certification preferred, and the ability to manage multiple engagements within IST windows. You will collaborate across teams and coach consultants, contributing to project scoping where needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll checklists, earnings and deductions, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, audit alerts, approval workflows, and security rules.
• Experience with ADP or Workday Payroll; customer support or payroll operations preferred.
• Workday Payroll certification preferred.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or managing Workday Payroll for customers of varying sizes and complexity.
• Strong customer service orientation and collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical problem-solving and ability to explain payroll issues clearly.
• Adaptability and willingness to ongoing training.
• Technical setup: reliable internet with 20 Mbps bandwidth.
• Work schedule: availability to work remotely from India 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST with flexibility.
• Joining timeline: able to join by Jan 1, 2027.
• Comfort with extended desk work.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer support as a Workday Payroll specialist.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues with customers.
• Coordinate payroll integrations between ADP and Workday.
• Configure Workday payroll components and related functionality.
• Support implementation activities and pre-production tasks.
• Maintain service delivery standards and aim for 80% quarterly billability.
• Manage multiple engagements balancing client priorities.
• Collaborate across teams and share knowledge.
• Support consultant development and coaching.
• Contribute to sales and project scoping.
• Maintain IST window availability (1:30 PM–9:30 PM) with flexibility.
