Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Workday Integration & Support Engineer to design, develop, and sustain integrations across Workday Financials, HCM, Payroll, and Planning. This remote contract role partners with finance, IT, HR, and vendors to ensure reliable operations and timely issue resolution.

You will triage incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and contribute to upgrades, releases, and data validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting Workday in a production environment across Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Planning.
• Hands-on Workday reports, security, business processes, integrations, and data validation.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and clear stakeholder communication.
• Preferred: Workday integration certification or ITIL Foundation.
• Preferred: MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, PeopleSoft, or Atlassian experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and support Workday integrations with internal and external systems.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, Workday Studio, Orchestrate, PECI, PICOF, WECI, APIs, SFTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
• Improve integration reliability, scalability, documentation, and support procedures.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve Workday incidents, service requests, integration failures, and data issues.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, document resolutions, elevate issues when needed, and communicate status clearly.
• Support ITIL/ITSM processes and contribute ideas to improve service quality and operational stability.
• Support Workday migrations, testing, release validation, change control, and production deployments.
• Validate integration performance, data accuracy, report outputs, security access, and business process changes.
• Coordinate releases, enhancements, and operational changes with stakeholders and change control teams.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports, calculated fields, security configuration, and data extracts.
• Support data mapping, conversion, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution across Workday and downstream financial systems.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into practical, supportable solutions.
• Collaborate with functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Maintain clear functional and technical documentation, support procedures, decision logs, and knowledge articles.
